I think Jones has the ability to be the feature back and has the desire to be out there every play to make a big run or a big catch and get this time winning. When Holmgren took him out last year in a game to let Morris run some I believe he got a little angry and threw his helmet or something...
I think those two Linebackers are just to add some depth. I think they have D.D. Lewis, Curry, Tatupu, Hawthorne and Laury. If they sign Hill that still leaves us with only two good guys at linebacker. Laury is more of a Special Teams guy and Hawthorne is the big hitter and D.D. Lewis is the...
The AP is saying they are "moving on", but Ruskell is "still having conversions with Hill's agent".
I don't trust the AP ever, they usually screw up Northwest Sports news. The Seattle PI has already talked about this and how Hill wants to come back to Seattle...
Curry, Tatupu and D.D. Lewis...
I'm pretty sure Coutu was signed to a lengthy contract so why do they keep Mare around? It's a waste of money to keep two on the roster when Coutu is the better kicker and the younger one too.
Hill returning is looking like a good possibility, but if it doesn't happen I wouldn't be surprised either. We lost Peterson and Hutch and signed Alexander to a fat contract right before he took the Seahawks down with him. So, Ruskell screwing this up is a good possibility.
Yeah, but at least they are moving toward filling MoMo's vacant spot.
I think they will probably throw Forsett and these two guys out there and let them compete for the spot.
The Seahawks have signed undrafted free agents:
Texas A&M DE Michael Bennett
Ole Miss LB Tony Fein
Wyoming RB Devin Moore
Maryland LB Dave Philistin
Ball State T Andre Ramsey
North Dakota State RB Tyler Roehl

So it looks like they know that they need a RB. Tony Fein...
I believe next year will be an uncapped year so if that's the case, can't we just make it so he makes more next year to make up for getting less this year?
I have no clue. Duckett is a 3rd down guy, not a guy who can come in when Jones needs a breather. If Jones ever gets hurt (I hope he doesn't) who will take his spot? Forsett is alright, but he did good in the preseason, not in the regular season. He could be a great steal, but I'm going to guess...
A 3rd Round pick and 3 others and we gain $8 mill in cap space to sign Curry and the other draftees?
Makes sense to me, but if we can some how get Hill back that would be good. 8-)
Well yeah, but NFL.com lists him as an OT, so I just went with what they said. :D
From what I've heard, Locklear is going to be Jones' replacement when he retires so that's why they didn't draft a tackle and went with a center/guard.
Locklear, Whale, Spencer, Unger, Willis
Whale is getting up...
How would you rate the Seahawks draft?
Rd 1, Pick 4 - Curry, Aaron OLB
Rd 2, Pick 17 - Unger, Max OT
Rd 3, Pick 27 - Butler, Deon WR
Rd 6, Pick 5 - Teel, Mike QB
Rd 7, Pick 36 - Greene, Courtney S S
Rd 7, Pick 38 - Reed, Nick DE
Rd 7, Pick 39 - Morrah, Cameron TE
