Maybe this is a move by the Seahawks to allow them to give Leroy Hill less money?
I dunno though, I'm just trying to figure out why they would do it besides the fact they don't want him anymore...
Wow...it's pretty much official. The guy just posted the video from NFL Network on there. They wouldn't say it unless it was actually true...:(
Man, I give this day a D now.
Ruskell said in a press conference after the Seahawks drafted Curry that they are still pursuing a long term deal with Hill.
And, I looked it up and this is what it says: "If a club withdraws their offered contract the player immediately reverts to an unrestricted free agent."
I'd say an A overall.
I agree that we need to move up and get a RB or a CB or something earlier than the 5th round.
We definitely need to keep that 1st round pick next year so we can get a QB and whatever else we end up needing. I think next year will be the year we take a QB on the 1st day...
Maybe the Seahawks will use that 1st Round Pick in 2010 from the Broncos to get a player?
I know they need other positions more than a WR, but maybe that pick and Branch for Boldin?
Sounds like a long shot, but would be cool. :D
True, but we needed a RB, a Tackle, maybe a WR and some Secondary help.
If they move Unger from Center over to RG then it would make sense.
Jones - Whale - Spencer - Unger - Willis
I agree. That is way too much for a 2nd Round pick. Now we have to trade a 5th, 6th round or 7th Round pick for a 3rd/4th Round pick.
Or maybe even a player trade.
I'm going to guess that the pick will be their own (Broncos 1st Round Pick). They would give the Seahawks the lower first round pick and I'm going to assume that they think their team is going to do better in 2009 than the Bears.
I'm just curious if it's the Broncos pick or the Bears pick. Either way, it looks good that we will have at least a Top 15 pick along with our 32nd Overall Pick next year. :D
