    NBA back in Seattle ?

Or build a new arena in Seattle or a surrounding city. I doubt Seattle will ever support building a new arena, but a city like Bellevue or Renton might.

    Goodbye Hasselbeck , Hello.......... ?

Having a lot of pressure is a result of having a bad O-Line and no running game. Give Matt a good O-Line and a 1,000 yard rusher and he will complete passes to anyone who has decent hands regardless of how well he knows them.

Leinart will come try out before Young...lol, I don't even know what I was originally trying to say.

Leinart will come try out before Young, if they are even considering them.

    Odds Makers: Matthew Hasselbeck

I agree that he is better than Tebow and actually worth a 1st-round pick, but he's not going to be a great NFL QB. The Seahawks need a guy that can come in and play pretty quickly. Especially if Hasselbeck isn't re-signed. If Locker can stand in the pocket more like he did his Senior year...

    *OLD* Offseason Transactions Thread

I think ESPN said players can still negotiate with teams, but obviously can't sign. That could mean a flood of signings once a new CBA is reached.

Locker might be available at our pick, but I read somewhere that the Vikings got a hard on when they saw Locker during the Combine. I think the best thing to do is avoid taking Locker. He's basically a right handed Tebow (w/o the wins) and that's coming from a Huskies fan.

    Goodbye Hasselbeck , Hello.......... ?

I think Carroll and Schneider are still high on Whitehurst. They will likely draft a QB, but Whitehurst will definitely be the #1 guy at the start of training camp. Of course that's if Hasselbeck leaves.

Morrah came out of no where last season. Carlson, Morrah and McCoy isn't a bad group.

10 years ago today the Seahawks acquired Matt Hasselbeck in a trade with the Green Bay Packers. I wonder if they'll give him a new contract for his 10th-year anniversary.

    I'm a FAN!, ARE YOU?

I'd love for Seattle to get a new expansion franchise. I don't want other teams' fans having to go through the same thing we did, unless that team happens to come from Oklahoma City.

I agree. If he does go, I hope it's to a team the Hawks don't face next season, especially at Qwest...

What I read was from the AP, so it could easily be wrong. They seem to be outsourcing their jobs these days.

The CBA is up on Thursday so they really don't have a lot of time to work out a new contract. From what I've been reading, the teams and players can still negotiate after the CBA expires, but only if the owners decide against a lockout.

    New Combine Record

True, I'm just saying a player needs to have more than strength to be good.
