Seahawks have re-signed RB/KR Leon Washington to a 4-yr deal worth $12.5 mill and it could reach a max of 16-mill.

I think this one is worthy of its own thread?

Either way I'm happy. Next up are Matthew and 'Bane.

I guess its an "original draft pick" tender. If someone makes an offer, hawks can match or receive a 3rd from that team. That is if things don't change with the new CBA.

Its the first punt we have blocked in like a decade or something , so it is a big deal , the kid has some heart.

The LW deal is a great move he is a leader and should be more then just a kick return guy . I like our RB situ now and I hope we focus on some bigs in the draft.

Will Herring has been slapped with an original draft pick tender. Just like Mebane if the new CBA goes back to the old rules in which a player with 4-or-more-years of experience is UFA than him and Mebane will fall under that category and Seattle will not get the option of matching a contract offer or receiving a draft pick as compensation. A lot to come tonight... I've already gone through 2 cups of coffee and am already starting to get things ready for that 11PM rush to come!

I think ESPN said players can still negotiate with teams, but obviously can't sign. That could mean a flood of signings once a new CBA is reached.
