Yeah I was kidding. :) I don't have my heart set on OT in the first round as long as we get the best players available. They could even go Berry/Morgan (assuming both players are available at our picks) and then address the offense in the later rounds.
We can take Brown at #14, he'll be there, not at 6 though. Heck, let's get Trent Williams and Charles Brown, move one to right tackle and trade Locklear. hehe :D
I'll say it clear for everyone to read: Losing picks in a deep draft like this one to reach for guy at #2 is idiotic. Charles Brown is there at #14 and he WILL be a franchise LT.
If you look at the trade value chart (NFL draft-pick value chart - NFL - ESPN) you can clearly see that wouldn't nearly be enough. We would have to give up our 6th overall and probably our 60th overall along with a 4th round pick. I like your scenario for us though. :)
The more and more I think about it the more I like passing on Berry at #6 and taking C.J. Spiller instead. I'm not sure if Spiller is going to be there at #14 and I believe he will make the most impact in his rookie year and we need a player like him. I say Charles Brown at #14, I know most of...
Charles Brown should be the pick at 14, you could even trade down in to the twenties and get him, Berry at 6 unless Okung or Mccoy is there and they won't be.
We need to take the best player available at number six, I assume that's the pick you are referring to. Drafting for biggest need doesn't work out all that often. Berry Will be the best Available, Mccoy will no longer drop to us, The Bucs will take Suh or Mccoy, with the Lions and Redskins...
