Orton wasn't a great QB before he came to Denver so it's really not a good comparison. When we got Housh a lot of the fans probably didn't think he would do well, but he did. Even though the offense was horrible he almost put up 100 receptions and 1,000 yards. Burleson was on track for a similar...
He knows Holmgren's offense which is why he is going there. He will be the starter for 2010. Under Mora he wasn't that great, but under Holmgren he will be decent.
3rd String QB? You just love to bash your "favorite" team, don't you?
By the way, the O-Line isn't that bad, Hasselbeck is still a top QB and Marshall will put up big numbers wherever he goes. Being negative all the time is pointless.
Adam Schefter is saying that the Broncos won't take anything less than a first round pick for Marshall. The Bengals are supposedly interested in him as well, but Schefter thinks it's a way to put pressure on the Seahawks to get the deal done and to show there is a market for him.
Right now...
2nd and Branch, done deal. Boldin was traded for a 3rd and 4th plus the Cardinals sent a 5th along with him. Boldin is a good WR, but not great. Marshall is up there with Fitz and Andre Johnson.
Brett and Brian Show can go. Number 18 has 1 more day to go before someone can take his place.

Lions select Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska.
Buccs select Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma.
Rams select Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State.
Redskins select Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame...
I think the Seahawks really want him. They brought Marshall in on the seaplane. The same thing was done for Housh.
Marshall visits Seahawks Headquarters | KING 5 TV | Seattle News, Local News, Breaking News, Weather | Sports
He ran a 4.60 at the combine and had 3.8 yards a carry last season which is only .1 better than Julius Jones, so I don't like the visit.
I'd rather have them visit Spiller with the 14th pick in the draft. ;)

It's always good to see a division opponent giving up. They don't have the young talent to make up for these major losses.
