6th. Eric Berry
14th. C.J. Spiller
I think Alex Gibbs can find some good lineman outside the 1st round, but if Okung is there at 6th the Seahawks have to draft him. With the 14th pick I went with C.J. Spiller because Pete Carroll wants someone who can be a playmaker and score TDs and that's...
I agree with dmarkholt12, it's a low risk, high reward situation. Even if they do sign him he will have to fight for a spot on the roster.
Edit: Found some more information on him...
The McNabb trade could affect us, it just depends how long they want to keep him around. It would hurt to take a QB if there is one available that they like because he can learn from McNabb for 2 years and come in when he leaves or is reduced to a backup role.
By the way, shouldn't the title be...
They didn't really need him anymore with the signing of Chris Baker. Although, the move doesn't go along with what Carroll has been doing which is adding players to create competition at every position.
Now they have two 4th round picks and two 5th round picks. Having those extra picks will allow them to move around earlier in the draft if they want to.
Eagles have traded McNabb to the Redskins for a 2nd round pick this year and either a 3rd or 4th in next years draft depending on performance.
...Both Eagles vs. Redskins games are going to get a lot of attention now.
Bears have informed Alex Brown that they will be releasing him today.
Rob Sims is going to sign his restricted free-agent tender which would indicate a trade according to ESPN's John Clayton.
