    BUZZ 2011 - Offseason 3

LOL! Awesome, like the "cork soaker" skit on SNL!

    Free Agency Wet Dream?

I know, and liked him then too, but I think he's improved and I think Gus/Pete use him better, maybe on the LE, bigger back up to Red and Brock, IF we get him back here.

    Free Agency Wet Dream?

Cromartie, would just come to Seattle to put a whoopass on Matt for his tweet dis. Let me throw another couple names in the hat.... Jason Babin and Steve Smith.

    40 times... RANDOM

Yeah, Marshawn aint straight line fast, but he has that BEAST thing in the second level, the ability to stop, go, lateral movement and break tackles "GET OFF OF ME" , but in the open feild a DB will catch him. I think if he gets a decent hole to run through he gets 5-15 yards everytime.

Are the Seahawks #1 contender for Kevin Kolb ?

Speaking of Madden, I picked up Kolb for 4.3 M and he is very good in the game. Much better then whitehurst and even Matt even though his rating is lower (77).

SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnd 1, Pick 25: James Carpenter, OL, Alabama

Pretty sweet that for a linemen to get some love, but yeah little early to drop big dough on his jersey. Lets make sure he makes the team, and then starts.

Are the Seahawks #1 contender for Kevin Kolb ?

I think Trent is in "Matt's Camp though" even though he denies talking with him. And I have no proof or insider info, its just my gut feeling... but Trent certianly has a mega QB/Man crush for Matt. And to two points, yes I do think that Matt knows his worth, but Az or SF or other QB deprived...

OFFICIAL 2011 NFL draft discussion/reaction thread

I wont even participate in a conversation about 'how many wins', but this is pete and john here, there will be trades, we will sign back some of our good players from last year, we will get 2 or more QB's to compete in camp. As soon as that opening bell sounds for FA, hold on to your hats boyz...

Are the Seahawks #1 contender for Kevin Kolb ?

I'd love to get matt back here, and even take him over Palmer, and think he'd do better with an improved line/running game... but Difler threw out a number in recent interview on 710, something like "10M/yr." seriously?? 10M? Not even close for Matt, 6M if he's lucky, I'd certianly do it for...

OFFICIAL 2011 NFL draft discussion/reaction thread

Its nice to hear a more positive prospective. The only concern I have now is for the DL and QB positions. With only Charlie on the roster, I assume the plan is get a FA and and possible a UDFA? Maybe Matt, or Kolb, or McNabb, or are we gonna go to the wood heap for 2 QB's to play behind...

SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnds 5-7: Sherman, Legree, Maxwell, Levingston, Smith

Size and Speed at the DB position, I like the Legree kid, he can deliver a pop, reads the ball well, 22 int's. I think some of these guys will work well in the seahawks 'bandit' defense as well as big in ST. I predict great ST play this year with all these speed guys that can lay the wood...

SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnd 4, Pick 10 (107): Kris Durham, WR, Georgia

Guy reminds me of a leaner Jerivicious, who I loved. A crazy tall leaping possession reciever, with deceptive top speed. I was thinkning Greg Salas here, but kinda liking this pick, PC /JS going the USC way with bigger WR/CBs. He seems tough too with great hands.

    SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnd 4, Pick 2 (99): K.J. Wright, LB, Mississippi St.

I was suprised with the pick, but that has been the theme today. Maybe equates or could be compared to Leroy Hill, and his apperant replacement??

SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnd 3, Pick 11 (75): John Moffitt, OG, Wisconsin

Good pick here, Moffit is a solid run blocker, really him and Carimi headed up that great run offense for Wisconsin. He reminds me of Unger, a good size, heady, OG with road paving ability but also can pull and get to the second level. I like the approach, getting a durable line all around...

SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnd 1, Pick 25: James Carpenter, OL, Alabama

You cant bash us hyper critical fans for reacting. The commentators, the analyst, even Nick Sabain was like WTF? when the pick was announced. It seemed a reach, and when all the analyst, and magazines, and commentary say he is a 2-3 rounder, then we say 'he's our guy', then our FO better...

SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnd 1, Pick 25: James Carpenter, OL, Alabama

I liked Carpenter, but not as a first rounder, seems like they got jobbed. Seriously did they have him above Carimi, Sherrod, Cannon, Ben Ijhamwtf? Either they know something no one else did! Or they got jobbed.

I would have taken Pouncey at #25 but that's just me. understand why you pick Nick Fairley, but just would have went with a safer pick.

    2011 NFL Mock Draft

Yes because of the character issues, but I really like Aarron Williams kid, good size, speed like a corner, hits like a safety. And...... I would disagree with you on the ball skills. Jimmy has 3 picks, Aarron 5, plus 5 FF and played against more elite talent. Wouldnt mind Stephen Pea either...

Maybe Trading Down Isn't So Good...

I also heard seahawks were "high on Ryan Mallet" and I was like "whhhaaaa?" Anyways, IF, Jake is there at #25 he would be a hell of a bargaining chip.
