    Golden Tate on NASCAR

LOL. Seriously? I am curious, though, why do you keep coming back?
  2. SeaHawksHuddle

    Golden Tate on NASCAR

You took it off topic and personal. Come on, where is the martyr card? I thought you were done with this?

    Golden Tate on NASCAR

You found a video of Idahawk. Nice job. That's not the definition of agility. Maybe you should quit posting from your iPhone until you've figure out how to properly use it. For continually calling people stupid, you are not proving any kind of intellect. Frankly, I am surprised you have...

    Golden Tate on NASCAR

I never saw where you addressed the agility portion of a NASCAR driver's race. I am not sure how you can call someone stupid, an idiot, and whatever else you did when you only address 2/3 of their argument. I also do not think you really get that no one is saying that driving in a NASCAR race...

    Golden Tate on NASCAR

Don't let him derail the topic. Something's popularity and how many people attend an particular event still have no bearing on whether the participants are actually athletes. I like Fenom's post. NASCAR drivers need stamina for sure, strength could be argued, but their agility is limited to...

    Golden Tate on NASCAR

When does fun that the spectator is having have any bearing on whether the performer is an athlete? Fun is totally subjective.

    Golden Tate on NASCAR

Haha. Really? Naw. I'm sure fighter pilots just lackadaisically go into dog fights thinking, "Meh, whatever." Yeah. No competition when you are fighting for your life. As for being televised, I'm not really sure what difference that makes in a person being an athlete or not...

    Golden Tate on NASCAR

No one said it wasn't tough. There are a lot of tough things in this world. Are fighter pilots athletes?

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/07/15/golden-tate-says-nascar-drivers-arent-athletes-hears-it-from-racing-fans/ I'm totally with him. NASCAR drivers are not athletes.

    Jim Moore's Last PI Column

I like the Go 2 Guy, even though he is a Coug. I really liked his last column: http://www.seattlepi.com/default/article/After-29-years-one-more-time-off-the-top-of-my-1439206.php I was not a regular reader, but I think it is sad to see pieces of the PI sports section slowly withering away...

Top 15 Players in the NFC West

I agree. I think if Thomas didn't fall off towards the end of last season, the proverbial rookie wall, he would be on the list.

    2 picks for Kolb?

No way. A second and third maybe? Not a first though. Bleh.

Clayton's thought on the possible upcoming cap

I would resign Spencer, too. I know a lot around here don't like him much, but I think he is better than most believe. Besides, Unger has not proven to be anything spectacular. Spencer strikes me as the kind that will leave Seattle and then go to the Pro Bowl every year with some other team.

    Bye Qwest Field

At least it doesn't appear they are slapping their logo feces all over it and going with the one that Fenom linked to above. CenturyLink corporate logo:

Thanks for the link on the silver helmet. We had a thread going on throwbacks and this kind of plays into that.

City of Seattle will Tax Sports activites

Haha. I played Underdog in 2006 and we won the league. I had a good time, but it was because we played co-ed so the wife and a bunch of her friends were on the team as well. The obscene amount of rules did get tiresome.
