Among the players:
WR Patrick Carter- A former Louisville was signed to the Bucs practice squad in September. He did not appear in any games this year. He appears to be more of a numbers guy, but could compete given the potential loss of...
Randy Johnson announced tonight that he will be retiring after a 22-year MLB career. He played for the Expos, Mariners, Astros, Yankees, Dimondbacks and Giants. He's a 5-time CY Young Award winner, 10-time All-Star, pitched two no-hitters including a perfect game, second all-time in strike outs...

The list is down to 4. Heckert and DeCosta are two of the four. They were two guys that I wanted so that's good to know. Heckert is in Cleveland and going to interview with the Browns tomorrow for their GM position.
Jon Ryan and the Seahawks repordetly are close to a 6-year deal to keep the punter in Seattle. Ryan would have been an unrestricted free agent, but given the expected opt out of the CBA signed in 2006 (voted in 2008 that the Owners would opt out of the contract) make him a restricted free agent...
Seahawks are seeking permission to interview the candidates. Should be interesting who grants them the permission, whose interviewed and ultimetely whose hired. Given these guys track records I think they may want their own guy calling the shots and that puts Mora's job on the hot seat. This is...
I agree 18. We thought Mike Wahle would be that guy, but injuries hurt him and forced him to retire. I think they should focus on that position as well as a LT and QB in the draft. RB I don't think is as bad as some might think. I think if we have a strong line JJ and Forsett should do just fine.
No surprise here that not a single Seahawk has been selected to the Pro Bowl. The only possible choices I would have voted for would be Jon Ryan and Olindo Mare. Other than that it's hard to find anyone who is deserving of a free trip to Miami at the end of the month.
Given a possible NFL Lockout after 2010 I don't think a lot of owners are going to pull the plug on coaches. The way it's looking with the current Labor neogatitions are not good. If they don't get one done it's a very possible chance that 2011 there is no NFL season. With that I don't think...
Yeah DTV can't just not show a game if you have Sunday Ticket. The only way a game won't show is if it's not sold out or on ESPN, NBC and NFLN. Because they have to follow the "Blackout" Rule, but otherwise the game is shown. They don't finalize their schedule of channels normally until Tuesday.
Seattle Seahawks(5-9, 3-3 3rd in NFC West) at Green Bay (9-5, 4-2 2nd in NFC North)
Stadium: Lambeau Field
TV Announcers: Fox- Thom Brennaman (Play-by-Play) and Brian Billick (Color Commentator)
Last Meeting: Packers won 27-17 in their final game against their former head coach Mike Holmgren as...
No problem Striker. Thanks for the appreciation. I enjoy doing the research and work for this site. Wanted to get that don before Christmas and the holidays so I can now relax and enjoy the time with the family.
Here's the blog breakdown of the 10:
Here’s the list of the 10 Candidates that the Seahawks have expressed interest in. Here’s a little background on them with teams they’ve worked for and anything else needed to know:
Ruston Webster- Webster has been the Seahawks Vice President of Player...
