I'd go so far as to say safety is our biggest need... despite the statement made in here a few weeks ago that we don't need a safety. We have Babs and Adams... both of whom are glorified dime backs. At best. Not only do we need to draft a S, we need to sgin Atogwe when the Rams have to...
5 wins max huh...
Here is what I see... Rams X2, AZ X1, SF X1, KC, Carolina, and OAK should be "W"s. Denver, Chicago, Giants, and Tampa are possible "W"s. Good luck games: AZ X1, SF X1, Atlanta, NO, San Diego.
That should at least be 8-8, with a shot at 10-6 if they can get their stuff...
WOOHOO!!! Just what we needed - a talented veteran to challenge guys for starting jobs and help coach the other players on the field. FINALLY! A signing to get excited about. Wait... that is sad that we are most excited about a guy that we hope will only be a backup.
I can see the Titans moving from 16 to 14 to get ahead of the Giants, as they have similar needs. And then the Texans wanting to move up to get Spiller who very well could still be on the board. Move us back to 20 with a 4th round pick from Tenn and a 3rd from Houston.
Since 1975... I count from when the team was awarded, not when they started playing. And as a Seahawk fan, optimism is a pre-requisite! I just don't think we are as far away as some people... a few key positions and a real offense will make a big difference.
Evidently Spencer has found new...
The cost to get up to get Okung would be tough... that would normally be our 3rd round pick, which we don't have. It seems questionable that they'd take our 4th rounder to give up Okung, and we can't afford more picks. I would be more interested in trading with New Orleans for Brown... he's a...
It's just a matter of what they want for him. I don't know if a 2nd round would do it. Would being able to get Berry and Morgan or Spiller be worth giving up a 4th round pick to get him with our 2nd? Maybe so...
We have to keep in mind... he was playing with a broken hand most of last year. Gibbs will work with him and help him live up to all that potential. Spencer has shown signs of being able to be good... he just hasn't put it together yet. But I really think he will.
It is a difficult year to do anything with the OL in FA. There weren't any good UFAs. There are a couple RFAs, but they aren't really worth the required draft picks. I still expect to see us trade down in the 1st round... maybe twice... and still get Charles Brown. I must be missing...
Yes, but there is one big piece of information missing from this anaylysis... McShay is a D-Bag that doesn't know as much about football as he thinks, and knows even less about the Seahawks. There is no way they take Spiller at 6. Trent is also a reach there, and I just can't get the sight out...
If you haven't seen this mock yet, you need to at least read the Chiefs and Seahawks summaries... the Chiefs are becoming my favorite AFC team!
