    Inside the NFL

He was congratulating Crabtree as a member of the 49ers on the great game in general, which it was. Whether you want to read some underlying insult to that, that's up to you. Crabtree evidently did, mainly I'm thinking because Crabtree already slighted Sherman last offseason so he expected an...

Position by Position, Tell me what you think

Seahawk football isn't a matter of life and death around here. It's more important than that. :D

Play Of The Year ( Seahawks 2013-14 )

Maybe not the greatest play of the year but I have to mention the Golden Tate TD catch at the end of the first half against the Falcons as being one of them.

The Hawks do that as well or better than any team in the league, I couldn't agree more. It's probably why they are here in the SB now. Oftentimes teams just try and go with what they do best, regardless of game conditions or game flow but football games almost never follow a script...

Position by Position, Tell me what you think

I guess it all depends on how you look at it. Is Manning the better overall QB? Yes. Is it as wide as the Grand Canyon? Statistically, based on pure passing yards and TDs, maybe so. As for skillset vs skillset? No. It's not that decisive. If Manning was the QB of the Seahawks, I don't...

Actually Vernon Davis was the #2 TE as far as stats go. There's no doubt that the Hawks can shut down JT after what they did to both Graham and Vernon Davis. But I didn't think these matchup comparisons, like our TE vs their TE, factored in what defense they would be facing. In that case...

TE draw? That's high praise for Zach and Luke Wilson since I think JT was 2nd in the league behind Graham in yards and TDs.

O-line I'd have to give the edge to Denver if the playoffs are any indication, at least as far as pass protection goes. Teams haven't been getting pressure on Manning very much. Pass protection might be the Hawks' biggest weakness. Other than that, I gotta agree with everything else...

The National Football Audience May Not Be Ready For This Game

Wilson is a far better Qb than Dilfer ever was. Wilson's got a far more dynamic skillset for one thing. The numbers don't bear it out but Wilson's deficiencies are more of the external variety (lack of a great WR corps). But in order to expose that deficiency, you gotta have a good pass rush...

The National Football Audience May Not Be Ready For This Game

It's kinda funny because earlier in the year I wondered if it might be impossible to stop Denver. I was reminded of that topic I started back in September about them after it was bumped back up on here a couple days ago. But things have changed now. Back then I was basing things on not only...

The National Football Audience May Not Be Ready For This Game

I wonder if any of them have ever had more than 445 total yards in a playoff game (385 passing, 60 rushing) like Wilson has. Kaepernick got 444 in the GB game where he rushed for 181 but who else has? Wilson's still got some mad skills throwing the ball. And he can and will throw on that...

I will never, never, never, ever, ever pick against those dudes again!

I think he was. I still kinda remember him referring to the key holding penalty in the 4th quarter as "baloney."

I will never, never, never, ever, ever pick against those dudes again!

In order to find a game the Hawks lost by more than 7, you gotta go all the way back to the first half of 2011 against Dallas and that was right when the team as we know it now was just starting to take shape and turn the corner. Some people, including me, look at the game the week before...

No way, no chance. They already pulled that on us once, they'd be stupid to do it again. But you know the saying? If you don't want the officials to beat you, then win by 10. This franchise not having a Lombardi trophy by now is just plain wrong. It ends 02/02/14. Hawks 31-21...

    The Offensive Line

How much of it was the O-line and how much of it was Lynch just taking the running game on his shoulders? YAC numbers are indicative. He didn't have a whole lot of space to run. PFF also pointed that out after the Saints game too and made an interesting point. In running plays where Lynch...

12th man flag raiser? Tell me this isn't true...

What? They needed a SEAHAWK doing it today. Cortez Kennedy or someone like that. Kenny G doesn't exactly rock the house down. My vote for best raising goes to when Bill Russell did it a while back. That was just off the charts cool.

    Game Day-NFC Championship Edition

I hope so. There's been some negative coverage on Wilson lately but just when people start doubting him again that's when he really blows it out of the water. A subpar game from Wilson and the O-line would give the Niners a shot. A solid game from Wilson and the Niners are toast. Go Hawks!!

    Lame analyst

It'll be even tougher for the Hawks to beat them twice in one game. Jeez, it's hard to believe some of those guys actually get paid.

    Breaking News

First off, Jeff Fisher wouldn't have admitted to anything and Harbaugh wouldn't have neither. From Fisher you would have gotten a 'no comment' and Harbaugh would have given you 'I don't know what you're talking about'. Carroll's not obligated to admit to anything to maintain integrity...

    Breaking News

A lot of football fans are just friggin idiots. It's those same people who were saying after the GB game last year that the call somehow proved that Pete Carroll is a cheater. Referee's call favoring the Seahawks = Pete Carroll is a cheater. WTF? It's those same idiots who don't know the...
