Wednesday's article is going to be a what happened with Shaun Alexander and how the trade of Joey Galloway made us a better idea. Thanks to the help of brainstorming from Pottsie.

I'm just not sure why we want to pay a LB that much money. Or anyone really. Especially in this draft. What a shitty year to be picking so high.

Trading down (although extremely unlikely) is the best path. Or to put it in some Huddle rhetoric: #4 is not an option.

Denver is working out Sanchez , I don't know how they think he could fall to them unless they are thinking of trading up.....I know its a slim chance .....but I give better then a 40 % chance that we will deal this pick , somehow , someway

That would be ideal... I hope you're right.

40% chance we trade down?

I say 5% chance, it just doesn't happen. Can't recall the last time someone traded into top 5.
Let's just hope we don't screw up and pass on a 10 minute pick.

Denver would be a good trade partner. We can get a lot out of the trade with them because they have more to give up (draft picks wise).

Last time was 2003 when the Jerks, Deadskins, the Patsies, and the Teddys made a deal to give New Yawk the #4 Pick (Shitcago), they took Dewayne Robertson (bust)...The Jets sent LaverneandShirleyus Coles to the Deadskins, the Jills got Bledsoe..

Basically it was a clusterfuck of teams, draft busts, and shitty players in the long run...

I heard the Lions could sign their pick within 24 hours. Hopefully it's Stafford so the Seahawks still have a chance at Curry.

NFL Radio is reporting the Lions and Stafford have agreed to contract in the range of $60's mill. Both sides aren't denying or confirming reports.
