In 2007 Matt Overton signed with Seattle as an undrafted free agent out of Western Washington. Since then he's played in the UFL for the Florida Tuskers and has found himself back in Seattle. Signing today with them as reported by his agent on Twitter.

He seems pretty good. The Seattle P.I. found a video of him performing a trick shot: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5j41hr2efHo]YouTube - Long Snapper Matt Overton "Trick Shot"[/ame].

Looks like they signed Pat MacDonald, another long snapper.

Seattle P.I. said:
Long snapper Pat MacDonald, a three-year veteran of the Canadian Football League, has agreed to terms on a contract with the Seattle Seahawks.

MacDonald is the second long snapper to come to terms with the team this week, joining Matt Overton of Western Washington University.

The Seahawks haven't confirmed either agreement, but MacDonald's agent, Scott Smith, said his client will sign his deal on Thursday.

MacDonald, 27, is a Toronto native who had tryouts with the New Orleans Saints in 2007 and the Carolina Panthers in 2009.

He played college football at the University of Alberta and competed in the CFL for the Calgary Stampeders in 2007-08 and this past season for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

MacDonald, 6-foot-2, 265 pounds, played a little on the defensive line as well as long snapping in the CFL.

The Seahawks are looking for someone to fill the position held last season by Kevin Houser, who suffered a collapsed lung and went on injured reserve for the final two games and then was replaced by veteran Jeff Robinson.

Neither Houser or Robinson are under contract for next season.
