Father of our linebacker coach and if you are old enough to remember when boxing was on ABC for free with guys like ALI , Foreman , Frazier and of course Norton who defeated Ali in 1973 then you remember the golden age of boxing , it's sad to see these guys go .

I was too young to remember when he beat Ali but I do remember the golden age of heavyweight boxing with Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Larry Holmes, Ernie Shavers, Quarry and Norton was right in the middle of it. And yes, I do remember when we got those fights free on ABC. Used to watch them with my dad on his old 13" Zenith.
Norton could have been a perennial title holder in a lot of other eras probably.

I did not know Sr. had all these accolades, what a ledgend man! They should do a special on him.
I love watching Jr. on the sidelines, he is a riot.
