John Schneider's will be on live announcing him as Seahawks new GM:

From now on I will be posting any information on upcoming Press Conferences with a link and analysis of the Press Conference. It will be more in-depth than our Twitter account, but will be based on that too.

Tod Leiweke, Pete Carroll and John Schneider on hand.

Process went from 20 candidates, 10, 5, 4, 2 and then 1 in hiring Schneider.

Schneider "Key role in reshaping the Packers orginization," Leiweke said.

-Packers youngest team in the NFL.
-Energy connected and saw eye-to-eye between Carroll and Schneider.
"Wanted to create team apporach in which everyone is connected," Leiweke said.

Schneider on the mic. now and talked about some guidlines he had laid out to the Seahawks:
-Striving to be the best in the league.
-Competition.
-Improvement.
"You can't reinvent the wheel, but you can change it," he said.

Talking about leaving Seattle after 2000 when they were re-building.
"I left with the sense there was unfinished business," he said.

Thanks Ron Wolf, Mike McCarthy and other Packer employees.

"I'm really excited about being here and setting the team with consistency in the next couple of year," he said.

Very important thing to know:
Tod was asked who would have final say if Carroll and Schneider come to disagreement on something:
"Pete will have the final say," Leiweke said. "We are building this team around him and if it comes to disagreement it's his say we'll go by."

So ultimetely Carroll will be the main voice as expected.
