It's cool having a WR with that much passion for the game.
Side note...Butler changed his number from 85 to 11 because "85 is a big number for a small guy".
True, but he lost his favorite target (Harrison), his head coach and now 2 more coaches. It's going to be interesting to see how he handles this transition especially with his age and being in the same system for so long.
NFL teams will have nearly $12 million more under the salary cap this season, the final year with one in place unless the league and its players' union can reach a new collective bargaining agreement.
I think they should give Morrow a chance to start a game. Maybe let him start in place of Bedard rather than Olsen.
I really don't think he wants to be the closer either and throwing 3 guys before Morrow who I think deserved a spot this year isn't going to help.
If they send him down to AAA...

Yep. There are a lot of bands out there that are worse. They could have used the Jonas Brothers like Jerry Jones did back on Thanksgiving.
...and Hawk, are you talking about the mid 90's?
That would be a good transition offensive wise. The team wouldn't have to switch from the West Coast to something else after just getting used to the West Coast Offense.
I think it will have more success than the XFL, but it won't be able to survive next to the AFL (Arena Football League) and NFL. Especially since the economy is still in the shitter and people aren't opening their wallets as much as before.
I wouldn't be mad at him if he went to the Cowboys or 49ers. I'd love to have him here as the GM, but I think he has the urge to coach again rather than be the guy sitting behind the action.
In 2009 there will be coaches fired and in 2010 there will be open coaching spots. It happens more and...
