I thought the Pirates covered the rest of his salary this season and the same goes for next season. Or at least that's what I remember hearing. Anyone know? :?
Felix is definitely the guy we need to lock up. Beltre is a good player, but he has yet to show that he is worth the money on offense...
Jack Wilson is an amazing SS. He is not the best hitter, but his defense is incredible. Rob Johnson seems like a great catcher, but not the best hitter. We need a guy who can hit, but when you look around the league there aren't many catchers who make an impact anymore.
Right now, no one is...
The stats below are through 5 games:
Nate Burleson: 30 Receptions, 358 Yards, 3 TDs
T.J. Houshmandzadeh: 27 Receptions, 325 Yards, 2 TDs
If they keep constant and with the return of Hasselbeck their stats at the end of the season:
Nate Burleson: 110 Receptions, 1250 Yards, 12 TDs

Looking over the 49ers and Cardinals schedules I figure the 49ers will go 6-10, Cards will go 8-8.
With the recent success that Seahawks have shown, I figure a 10-6 season isn't a bad prediction.
Damn...too bad I can't go.
Upcoming Appearances:
10/20: #15 Seneca Wallace & Sea Gal Kim will be signing autographs for the Sea Gals calendar (5-6 pm)
11/3: #26 Josh Wilson
11/10: #90 Colin Cole
Should buy some of that Wallace Applesauce and have Seneca sign it on the 20th.
Michael Bennett was claimed off waivers by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 49ers tried to pick him up first, but the Buccs record gave them the advantage.
Bennett was released to make room for their 4th LT.
85-77 with no offense, but good pitching and defense.
Too bad the Yankees couldn't beat the 116 game record or at least tie it like the Mariners did back in 2001.
We're set at DE for a while with these young guys. Which is always a good thing.
Maybe this is the game where the Madden Curse causes Fitz to get hurt. :D
Re: WEEK 5: JAGUARS @ SEAHAWKS GAMEDAY THREAD
It wasn't Del Rio. The Hawks defense brought pressure and Garrard couldn't handle it. When they didn't, he completed passes. The Hawks also forced turnovers, which didn't happen much prior to this game.
At the end of the game the Seahawks ran the...

Russell Branyan hit one well over 500 ft at Yankee stadium, but they don't measure for opposing teams. Which I'm guessing is why he didn't get the stat.
