We'll just have to wait and see how it turns out. We all know his impact in the clubhouse, but it will be difficult to predict what he does in the batters box.
Baseball has became a business and this is a good business decision. Griffey draws in more attendance which brings in more money.
He also brings a better atmosphere to the clubhouse which will help keep guys here and attract players to come here. Nobody wants to play in a clubhouse where nobody...
"My ultimate goal is for the Mariners to get to and win the World Series". - Griffey
Clubhouse impact/19 homers in a split role at DH...sounds good to me. :D
It makes since for the Hawks to go to a 3-4. It's like what Mora keeps saying, you need to use all the talent you have. Using our 4 good LBs is a very good idea.
Mora also told Knapp to bail on the run game and go with Hasselbeck and the passing game. If they kept with the run game the Seahawks probably would have lost.
He'll want too much money. Even though there is a chance he can help, we need to focus on signing our draft picks next year and picking up some guys in FA.
A big name wouldn't have changed anything. Did you forget about 2008 already? A GM change is what needs to happen. Someone who actually knows that you need depth, someone who has been a head coach for a long time...
Larry Johnson was released by the Chiefs...I don't care if he said "fag" or whatever "gay slur" he said.
We should bring him in and see what he has. After all, Ruskell likes old players.
We can draft our needs in the upcoming draft. Walter Jones wants to come back one more year so if he can pass his physical and stay healthy we should be fine. That would allow Jones to work with the rookie and help him prepare for 2011.
Seahawks released Travis Fisher, Edgerrin James and C.J. Wallace. They replaced them with safety Jamar Adams, wide receiver Mike Hass and cornerback Roy Lewis.
The Hawks 3rd RB will be Rankin now.
How is that "so desperate"? Are you saying selling tickets to people who can't see is desperate? They can still hear what is happening and feel how excited everyone is. Heck, I bet a lot of those people wanted to go badly... :harvey:
It's hard to say right now. If the consistent Seahawks go out and play they can win more than 4, but if the inconsistent Seahawks continue to walk out of the locker room it will be hard for them to win more than 3 or 4.
Seahawks are 2-5 after Week 8. Now they go back to Qwest Field to take on the Detroit Lions which seems like it will be a W for the Seahawks, as long as they don't shoot themselves in the foot. They face 5 tough opponents that bring big passing threats and running threats against a mediocre...
