I think you could easily argue the same thing for WR. Really, we need help in the secondary. But if a high caliber player like Crabtree is available, we just cannot pass up that opportunity.

What a great idea. I love it.
Ironically, as I read the article, I was listening to 'Shadow of the Day' by Linkin Park. I started to mist up a bit...
I heard Holmgren said on KJR that he did not really want to leave, especially under these circumstances. I do not blame him for wanting to go to SF. Although, I can see that not panning.
I for one will cheer, and cheer loudly, for him.
Losing out for a draft pick is ridiculous. Absolutely absurd.
Check out the teams that lose out the previous year v. those that end on a high note. The next year, the "high note" teams are better, where the ones that lose out traditionally stay around where they are (see Lions, Raiders...
I actually think both these games are winnable:
1. Jets haven't won on the West Coast all season and it is Holmgren's last home game. The crowd will be unreal. Plus Favre will throw the game in honor of his old coach and mentor. ;)
2. I think the Cards have sewn up the 4th seed. I think...
Really? That's it?
*Yawn*
Do you have anything to contribute? Or are you just here to tell us that the 49ers have five Super Bowl rings and the Seahawks have zero?
I do not think he will be ran out of San Diego, but I do think he is probably done in regards to "superstar best running back in the league" status. He should be above average for another season, maybe two (if his foot heals properly).

I'm not sure about the uniform rule I was talking about. I was merely speculating.
