NOT A ONE, READ ONPTION PLAY!

Yeah I was re watching NFL rewind, they did run read-option in the first quarter a few times, from the shot gun. Looked more like a draw then RO though. I also noticed on big plays where we did not convert, RW was missing open receivers. Ricardo lockett on the post (could have been a TD)...

Can someone tell me why Turbin's returning kicks?

PC said he wanted Turb in there because he is accustomed to handling the football, it was for ball security. Well that shit back fired on him. From here on out, it better be all hands on deck, baldwin did a nice job, Christine Michael should get a shot, or J. Lane. I don't care if you put RW...

NOT A ONE, READ ONPTION PLAY!

I dont remember seeing many, certainly not one where there seemed to be a threat of a keeper.

    Game Day -NewYork

How good is Maxwell and J. Lane? Those guys just owned it! Maxwell not only looks like a starter, he looks like a top CB! Great in coverage, physical but w/o being flagged, plays the ball. And Jeremy Lane is so good in space and speedy. Him and Kearse on special teams are amazing...

LOST THE BATTLE, BUT WILL WIN THE WAR~

Tate is RW's BFF Baldwin is making a case for being a top slot guy so might be hard to keep, but your right about value to us. Kearse we have for another year Rice - Bye bye Harvin - No comment.

    49ers / Saints

Eating crow on my prediction at the time, Saints are more like the 'Aints on the road, and 49ers are seem like they are peaking! I'm glad the saints beat them when they played now! I guess I should stick with the old Holgrem adage, win your division first.

Yes, which means we get the chance to match or get a draft pick.

    Robinson Cano a Mariner

Most active offseason in M's history. Montero and Smoak up for trade. Really shaking up the roster. The recently released Times article sure stirred thinks up too, and the scrutinizing of the front office might be really healthy for the club. Jack Z better be on his best behavior here on out...

Tate and Baldwin are FA next year. I hope we can sign both, RIce gone, Percy.... jury's out.

LOST THE BATTLE, BUT WILL WIN THE WAR~

He is very young I think 23? He came into the league young. If he hits a couple home runs in the playoffs and helps go to Disneyland, all this talk is moot. He's the seahawks Robinson Cano.

    Finally getting a littel respect?

Its because "defense wins championships", the old addage holds true IMO. Denver vs. Seattle will be the best match up, two balanced teams, with one insanely explosive offense, and one ball hawking defense. Our secondary will be the great Payton equalizer though, with ET back there and 1 or 2...

    49ers at Tampa Bay

Yep, Tampa Bay could be my 2nd favorite team this weekend. Glenon really surprised me, I didnt think much of him coming into the NFL. Daddy long legs can play.

    Comparing the SB season

And then four years later the ref comes out: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/08/06/four-years-later-bill-leavy-apologizes-to-seahawks/ I applaud him on that, kind of. Big games come down to a final play a lot these days and one judgment call changes the out come of the game. I think...

    Comparing the SB season

Uhh.. not that I want to revive that game, but there was the ticky tack BS push off call in the endzone. TD - DJack - We win SB 40.

LOST THE BATTLE, BUT WILL WIN THE WAR~

That's the question right there, how was his contract done. With his past injuries you would think there were some clauses writen in it, but favoring who? As you can see his big cap hit is next year, interesting how little he earned this year, especially given his playing time. Of course...

LOST THE BATTLE, BUT WILL WIN THE WAR~

I think Percy will be a hard trade next year, unless he just totally rocks it in the playoffs. If we win a SB everything is all worth it, but yeah I agree that his contract will definitely handicap our ability to resign desired players next year.

    Game Day 49ers

I agree, I like what Kearse can do too on KO returns. Yesterday, with Percy Harvin, we win. Something to chew on...

LOST THE BATTLE, BUT WILL WIN THE WAR~

49ers will have cap issues before we do though, I could see them loosing some players next year. Hopefully us not until the following year.

    it's for the Division

I don't think the let them score theory works here, just because if you do, now you have to score a TD, which is very hard against a top defense. Since in this case, holding them to a field goal means all we need is to get into FG range to win it, Pete played that right. Bottom line though we...

    Comparing the SB season

The '05 losses, 2 were in begining of the season and on the road, the final 1 was to GB in a meaningless game that we played our BU's, because we had locked up the #1 seed. Hopefully that is the case this year as well. 49ers were not a rival then, the Rams were. I remember the steelers were...
