    Where-Seahawks-have-clear-edge-over-49ers

The general consensus is that the Niners have the best O-line in the league, which to me is part of the main reason they will continue to be a serious threat to the Seahawks. They have top five talent at every position on the O-line. The Hawks' O-line on the other hand, hasn't been together...

    Okung on Carp

Didn't take long, it was actually the 2nd play of the game. Yeah, I'm guessing Carp wished he had that one back. Looked like all quickness and leverage. Carp was backpedalling and never even got his feet set before Peppers put the wood on him.

    Okung on Carp

Ah ok lol thanks. Actually I wasn't sure if it was the game last year or an earlier matchup. I have that entire game in HD so I'll check it out. Usually when I break that game out it's just to relive the two drives at the end so I didn't remember the play you're referring to.

    Okung on Carp

Which game was that? If it only happened once, I'd maybe call it a lucky shot. Peppers can be a beast but he gives up about 30-40 pounds to Carp and has a little higher center of gravity. Seems far more likely Peppers would beat Carp around the edge rather than running him over. Now that I...

(NFL Film) - Rain City Redemption

What was Billick saying after the Saints game while he was eating crow? Hey Brian, don't be talkin with your mouth full you biased anti-Seahawk windbag. I'll bet he'll even be talking them down this year too.

(NFL Film) - Rain City Redemption

You put this together? Nice piece of work and definitely worth a sit in for any Seahawk fan. This vid popped up on my youtube home page as 'recommended' but I didn't get around to watching it until seeing it on here. Thanks for doing it. By the way, who was the former player mentioned at...

A little Bleacher Report love for Hawks' WR corps

I kinda took issue with that as well. I like our stable of RBs over just about anyone's but after thinking about it though I can see why they might have been left off the list. You got Lynch and then you got Turbin who a lot of Hawk fans are stoked about (and justifiably so) but he didn't make...

A little Bleacher Report love for Hawks' WR corps

Am I detecting a bit of skepticism in the receiving corps or what?

A little Bleacher Report love for Hawks' WR corps

True. But no more so than say, ESPN or the NFL Network. Agreed about the secondary but that's pretty much a given. I was pointing out the article concerning the receivers because the Hawk receiving corps isn't normally talked about or considered as being at the top of the league.

Seahawks rumors: Tarvaris Jackson expected to sign with Seattle

Well said, that's pretty much what I was thinking too. Tjack might not cut it as a starter but he's got some things going for him as a backup with this team. Knowing the system as well as being familiar with both Rice, Harvin and Bevell going back to Minnesota.

Seahawks rumors: Tarvaris Jackson expected to sign with Seattle

Ah come on, he wasn't that bad, but I guess you could say he was having a rough go of it for a while when he was getting the crap beat out of him, especially early on as he got sacked something like 16 times in the first 3 games of the year. I just never could see pinning it all on Tjack when...

    Expectations for Seahawks' James Carpenter

When there's that much of a discrepancy? Yes, absolutely. Besides that, it's still worth 6 regardless of who scores the TD, right?

    Buds

Based on that pic I'd still take Wilson over Kap. He might only be about 3 foot 7 but Kap's throwing arm is missing.

    Expectations for Seahawks' James Carpenter

You ARE kidding right? KRob had one decent season with the Hawks while Lynch was the top RB in the league the last 9 weeks of '11 and one of the top 3 RBs last year and has become the focal point and identity of the offense. Not only that but Lynch only had 2 fewer TDs (not counting...

Seahawks rumors: Tarvaris Jackson expected to sign with Seattle

I believe Portis is gone. The Hawks did go 5-3 (and almost 6-2) the latter half of '11 once the OL came around and gave him a chance. But it's the same deal as with Quinn and all the rest, including Jamarcus Russell if the Hawks do turn out to be that "mystery team." If they are as bad as...

    Wilson vs Kaepernick comparison

The unfortunate thing is even if you apply the tact you're referring to, people are still gonna be offended. Their reaction will be slightly different, from, "gee, what a racist" to, "so uh, what exactly are you implying?" People shouldn't risk getting banned for telling the truth. And the...

    Wilson vs Kaepernick comparison

Brees, Theismann and Len Dawson were all listed at 6' even, the shortest QBs to ever win a Super Bowl but no one under 6' has ever won it or has ever even made it as far as I know. Pat Haden started for the Rams in '79 at 5'11 but wasn't playing after like week 8 that year. So there's a sort...

    Wilson vs Kaepernick comparison

You referring to the black QB/white QB thing? I can see how that would get somebody banned too because oftentimes being politically correct has nothing to do with reality and everything to do with having your head buried in the sand.

    Wilson vs Kaepernick comparison

sprhawk you make some good points. I think deep down most Hawk fans probably think like you do. There's still the history of sub 6-foot QBs never winning a Super Bowl, there's still the question in a lot of people's minds about how effective Wilson can be throwing from the pocket, there's the...
