    manc seahawk in the huddle!!

Welcome back. Will be good to have some fresh opinions around here. Couldn't agree more, monster draft. If Pete Caroll was judged on that alone, he would be coach of the year! Great maneuvering, great pickups in the early and later rounds. All around goodness. Now that offseason...

    Huddle has been stale lately...

I like Okung at 85. I am always weary of a rookie lineman though. That grade seems to be a fair "catch all" grade. I think Okung has the potential to be much better than that, but if he doesn't work hard he could also be much worse than that.

    Playoffs?!

I think we have a great shot at making the playoffs. My reasoning is based on the strength of our division. The Rams will be terrible, the Cardinals have lost quite a bit and are on the fence on whether they can gain their mojo back. The 49ers have real QB problems, and don't have very good...

    Julius Jones on Trading Block?

Haha couldn't agree more. JJ has been under acheiving ever since Bill Parcels took him one pick in front of Steven Jackson in the 2003 draft. If we could get anything north of a turd sandwich I say we make the deal. :butcher:

    53-Man Roster

I think the offseason moves, the big ones anyway are already over. The draft is really what moves trades in the offseason. The Redskins are looking to get rid of Haynesworth, maybe we could get him as a Seahawk? That would be to freakin' sweet for words....Other than that though, I think we...

    Whitehurst > Bradford?

I have to agree with this. Bradford has weight problems and is injury prone. Whitehurst could really make some waves here in Seattle. God knows he has spent enough time on the bench to learn. Bradford is gonna get stuck behind that awful offensive line and get hurt again. Advantage...

    Seahawks Steal the Draft

I totally agree with this thread regarding Taylor Mays. I went to 4 USC games last year in LA, and Mays ALWAYS tries for the big hit. He is not a great cover free safety, and usually gets burnt pretty badly when he is the only man back in a 3 deep situation. We made the right choice for sure...

    Any 'Hawks worth tagging?

The agreement also calls for all free agents to only be restricted free agents, so the Hawks will be able to match whatever offer any other team sends to our players. That is good news at least.

    2010 nfl draft

Our team needs a lot of help, trading down to get a couple of extra 2nd round picks might not be a bad idea. Statistically speaking, 2nd round picks are far more worth it than 1st rounders. They cost less, they are less of a commitment and you kind find fantastic talents there. Since I am a...
