That's a good point you make about Teel, but I still think Hasselbeck is done, even though we're all obviously hoping he can still play. I guess we should just hope for a qb to fall to us, and let him sit behind Hasselbeck if the coaches feel he has another year left. That's for them to decide...
Did anyone else see Matt against the Packers? Even when he did have good protection he threw horrible interceptions, especially the first one to AJ Hawk. He's developed Mark Bulger's "I've been hit so many times that I'm just going to heave the ball into triple coverage to avoid a sack"...
Find another one of our linemen who started 14 games and gave up less than 3 sacks and 1 penalty. If Locklear could stay healthy, maybe he would be capable, but he seems to get hurt every time he steps out of bed in the morning.
wasn't Joe Montana a Notre Dame qb too? you can't judge a guy because of where he went to school unless the offense doesn't translate to the NFL. Jimmy Clausen played in a pro offense and threw 28 touchdowns and only 4 interceptions last year. his personality is the reason I compared him to...
Jay Cutler had nothing last year. Devin Hester was his best receiver, and he'd be a 3 or 4 on most teams. They had no running game, a terrible offensive line, and their defense fell off a lot. And besides, would you rather have him or Mark Bulger, Kyle Boller and Keith Null?
we can get Jonathan Dwyer in the 2nd round, who may be the only rb in this draft who has #1 potential. we can get either Okung or Berry at #6 and Bryan Bulaga at 14 if we don't get Okung, or Earl Thomas if we don't get Berry, and then we can get a qb like Jarrett Brown from WVU in the 4th round
