i can't see why people think Forsett can't be a starter... all he does is produce. too small? maybe but let's see if he can handle it before we judge that. there are some small RBs who can be full-time starters.
i ALWAYS thought Trufant was overrated.
i only put Babs on there because a lot...
hey, let's start some arguments here!
too timid the last few days... give me your top 3 underrated seahawks (and reasons why if you need to make a point) and top 3 overrated.
Underrated
1. Justin Forsett - a lot of the yardage he gets is on his own. i really think he is our future at RB.
2...
damnit i want to see the green jerseys again.
too many fucking teams wear metallic blue. makes me want to barf.
the blue ones look good in person but look so bland on tv for some reason.
well, of course you have to eat the pancakes that come WITH the omelette...
what i SHOULD have said was "Bob Sanders is built like an IHOP omelette with a side of pancakes"
that sounds much better, right?
yes i agree that it DOES have to do with how you control your body... but a 5'9'' guy naturally has a lower center of gravity so he can usually change directions faster. i'm not talking about straight-line speed, just quickness... stop-and-go.
there is a HUGE difference between Bob Sanders and Josh Wilson in terms of size though...
Sanders i built like an IHOP omelette... something you don't want to take on yourself or you will PAY FOR IT later...
Wilson is built like an 11 year-old japanese girl.
no shit let's stop picking fights here.
all of us fighting like this is affecting my life TOO MUCH.
i busted all my vinyl BeeGees records and kicked my dog and broke up with my girlfriend and everything...
let's all just relax and agree that Seneca Wallace is the greatest seahawks...
i disagree with trying Josh Wilson at safety. his height/size would be MORE of a weakness.
height can be a disadvantage too at Cornerback. do you honestly think a 6'4'' corner could cover Steve Smith or Santonio Holmes or Wes Welker as well as Josh Wilson probably could? a 6'4'' guy would...
ah... it was one of those "lost in text".
i thought you guys were nit-picking but you were really just stick-poking.
i can handle stick-poking.
sorry i over-reacted.
Mare has made every FG besides those two he missed IN A ROW THAT HALF OF YOU WANTED HIM FIRED FOR.
love how i am misquoted to make me look stupid.
still don't get what's so obvious about that statement, but i've seen some of your guys' posts so you shouldn't be correcting me on my sentence...
ah, my mistake. i must have been blocking out some of these last few games and trying to forget them...
EVEN BETTER then... Forsett has had ZERO bad games. proves my point even more.
some small runners can handle a full load without a problem...
he had ONE bad game against the best run D in the league. and to add to that, he only got 8 carries that game.
everyone has a bad game every once in awhile...
he made our whole offense look better today. JJ is average in all areas but Forsett makes something out of nothing frequently.
...since we had a RB who made me want to watch them run the ball...
damn that guy is good. leave him in Mora!
the scary part is we waived him last year and the Colts picked him up and waived him too so he ended up with us again.
you know those TWO FIELD GOALS mare missed?
well, those are the ONLY TWO FIELD GOALS he has missed all season.
...and he leads the league in touchbacks with an offense that can't get touchdowns to give him opportunities to do all that many kickoffs.
damn, give it up.
yeah, just like last year - we have been hit really hard at ONE position.
Cory Redding is listed at 295ish but he sure doesn't look that big... i've only seen him playing DE though...
who cares about getting bigger on D? our D is ok, if anything we need to improve our pass D.
at this point...
