Breno Giacomini's sore knee leaves Seahawks' offensive line in flux

If anyone is going to the game can you please make a HUGE ASS poster telling RW to abandon working on his 3 step drop until after his line is healthy. Thanks ;)

    First game in whites

Back to Back 10am games too. Should prove to be a real test. I really think its wrong that only western teams have early games. I wonder what it would take to get the NFL to change their policy. Can you image if all eastern teams were made to play 5 games a year with 10am start times. We may...

    Does this bother anyone else?

Having a quality back up in Breno was a comfort but that didn't last long. I was hoping the injuries wouldn't be too bad but it doesn't look good with the signing of the new guys. Sure wish we had the depth on the oline we've got on the d side.

LMAO, "Now in at center, Long snapper Clint Gresham." Hey it would solve some of our line issues shifting Unger over to a guard position. Of course Gresham would probably be dead after a couple plays.

Damn, I hope Bevell draws up a lot of roll outs for RW. If he comes out trying to pass from the pocket we could be in for a long day.

Can we beat Denver right now?

Good article. We may have beat them easily in a preseason match at the clink but a outdoor game in NJ in early February against Peyton just doesn't sound real promising. Hopefully they get knocked out in the playoffs. It's a long way off and anything can happen.

    Does this bother anyone else?

True, as talented as RW is I guess that is his weak area. It makes sense for him to try to improve but he's not getting any taller. I'm 5'10 and when I play ball with 6 plus dudes I use my speed to my advantage and take theirs away.

    De'Andre Hopkins

Let's hope he does. He's tough for a QB but all it takes is one good blindside. I rather he wasn't standing in harms way.

    Does this bother anyone else?

Play calling eh? It does make me trip on how anyone can't be thinking "he shouldn't be dropping back" while watching tape? I'm on my couch saying it and sure enough, sack/fumble. 2 of the 4 TD's came on roll outs. The first goal line TD was a sweet fake to Zack. The TD to Rice was real close...

    De'Andre Hopkins

I notice you didn't project: 350% increase in fumbles - 0.7 fumbles per game vs. 0.2 in 2012 30% increase in sacks - 2.6 sacks per game vs. 2.0 in 2012 14% decrease QBR rating - 61.9 vs. 71.7 in 2012 My bitch still stands, why the hell is he dropping back? He is an awesome mobile QB.

    Does this bother anyone else?

The numbers don't make any sense, ESPN's stats must be based on "between the hash marks" and not considering if he was mobile. I think to be considered a pocket pass a QB drops back and throws. I've watched every game last year multiple times and there is no way 72% of his passes came from drop...

    Are the Niners crumbling ?

Coaching style means a lot when it comes to losses. I like PC's take it in, learn and improve philosophy.

    Does this bother anyone else?

I agree with most of what your saying but I think you've reversed that %, last year RW was rolling out on almost every pass play. The oline didn't start to solidify until late last season. I actually thought the roll outs were designed plays but this year your 75% is more accurate. Unless he...

    Does this bother anyone else?

RW had an awesome game throwing 4 TD's. Some beautiful catches this week. This is what bothers me, RW commenting about the "depth on his drop" and focused on that. http://www.seahawks.com/videos-photos/videos/Russell_Wilson_Week_3_Press_Conference/3afbddd9-9313-4f52-9ac7-6601c6092c4c RW...

I've always thought the Hawks should do this

I don't think traveling west is difficult for eastern teams unless it is a Sunday Night game. The real issue is the 10 am games. West coast teams playing eastern games should have 4 pm kickoffs. Eastern teams never play morning games and I think this gives them an unfair advantage.

San Fran fan didn't like the "Unsportsmanlike" noise

Hate to think it one but $ talks. I've always got my old reliable 80 in reserve. I never bought a 12 but that would solve the "what to wear" issue.

    Concerns: Spill em

Wow, torn ligament in his toe, I figured he'd be good to go when the xrays came back negative. More reason for RW to get his ass out of the pocket. Sure hope Carp can make it thru the season.

I've had some reservations with Sherman but he is the real deal. Talk about enhancement, playing against your old coach who dissed you with 12th man in full support. That is a lot of "Juice". Since the new regime (post Hasselbeck) I haven't bought a jersey. Still sporting my 51. I think the...
