I'm not that happy with the way this offense has played. Turbin should've caught that ball, & this team would've been up 10 - 3. :( On the upside though, the defense is doing a nice job of keeping the 49'ers out of the end zone.
I was reading on a different Seahawks forum (www.seahawks.net) where a poster read a post on a 49'er forum about a fan who called the Seahawks the "new era Oakland Raiders - dirty, class-less cheaters with no shame or care for their actions/respect for the game."
Here are a few others I saw...
So a player can hit as hard as he "wants to" (without being intentional, of course) otherwise as long as it doesn't fall under a penalty? Like Largent's hit on Harden, for example?
I have a question. How come Browner wasn't penalized for hitting Welker like that? It's looks to me the same as Tate had done against what's his name in the Cowboys game but he gets fined for it? I'm not saying Browner should have been, just curious as how they apply the ruling on contact. The...
In reply to Hawkzilla - To be honest, at that point of the game I didn't think the Seahawks would win & I was keeping track on nfl.com, thus didn't see the play. It must have been quite a sight to see Wilson rack up those yards on that play - pity that Giacomini f***ed it up.
But who knows...
Patriots Nation strikes me as a typical fan who loves to talk big, but when the heat gets hot, his feelings get hurt & isn't even mature enough to be a man and give props to the winning team.
I think the Patriots played a decent game, especially with the way Lloyd gave it his all & dove for...
I would also like to say how that early in the 1st quarter on 3rd down & 4, I liked the way he kept his cool and made a fantastic play to keep the drive alive. If that was Hasselbeck, he would've been flat on his butt.
I swear, Giacomini has the worse discipline I've ever seen. Wilson had a 26 yard gain to keep the drive alive that is negated by his holding penalty! I am having a hard time remembering a player on this team that has done as worse as he has & I remember the days with Dan McGwire, & Brian Bosworth.
This is going to be a tough game for the Seahawks. I see the defense giving up at least 21 points simply because of what Tom Brady is capable of. They are going to have to put constant pressure on him to keep him off his game.
No one mentioned this but I think it was a clever idea to give up a safety thus giving the Seahawks more room to work with. And I agree with others here - Giacomini needs to learn some discipline.
As a fan, I always try to find a positive or two after each loss. Today's positive is that the defense showed up & only gave up 1 touchdown, bringing their total of the season so far to five (nfl.com says they have four, but I'm assuming the stats aren't updated in real time). With the Texans...
Okay, then I apologize for misinterpreting his post. Yeah I agree. Bates has got to go. Now it's 28 - 0, and the Seahawks need to get on the board if only to save face.
Well down by 3 touchdowns with 2 quarters left to play. If you were in Carrol's shoes what would you say to the team to get them all fired up for the 2nd half to get back in the game?
Can Seattle even get a freaking first down today?!? It's the 2nd quarter already & their total yardage just barely equates to one. 12 total yards! This team sure as hell doesn't play like a 4 - 2 team!
Hello fellow Seahawk fans! You guys probably may not remember me, as I only marginally participated in the other board, but it's wonderful that this place has come back.
1. It's obvious - because I'm a fan of one of the greatest wide receivers in the history of the NFL, and also a great...
