I agree. I watch/follow a couple of College teams, as well as being forced to watch Denver with some family members . . . so, I get in 5-6 games a weekend. Every game, you see/hear "wow ! he didn't see xxxxx was wide open with nothing but green grass to the end-zone ! so, he took the 12 yard...

I always wanted to be one of those guys who record the game, then (since they obviously don't drink and have ugly wives) stay up all night going over and over the game loss. They start the next thread with a "how to fix" tutorial, and a game recap. Me ? I scribble down notes... that I cannot...

Official gameday thread: Seahawks @ 49ers

=== Does it matter ? these short-week games are always off key a little, no injury recuperation or true prep for each other.... depth of roster, and the age of players really tests the teams on short weeks... gonna' be good !

Official gameday thread: Seahawks @ 49ers

============= Where is my mirror ? I could not have said this better (as being precisely my feelings too), could be a great game or a blow-out, going either way... I see these two teams as pretty evenly matched.

    Holmgren to retire.

They could not get him to "coach" in Cleveland, he appointed some real idiots to run the field, and got rid of the best that were there when he arrived, He is certainly not worth wasting todays Hawks space on...

    Holmgren to retire.

Mike Holmgren was hired to turn around the Browns when he arrived in Cleveland in 2010, he has just been fired…er forced to retire.. Worst win percentages in the NFL, since 2010 Team Win Pct. Panthers .243 Browns .263 Rams .316 Before jumping ship to the SeaHawks (after 45 years of...

I have to say Russell Wilson played a good game...

I saw the atypical Patriots half-time adjustments as sort of corralling him, but, remember, it was the second 1/2 that mattered for the win. there were many scary moments in the game (from a Defense viewpoint), I was less impressed with our Defense than usual. (lots of 10 yard gains)

I have to say Russell Wilson played a good game...

I did not see a Patriots team too far off their usual mark for pass defense, I honestly think they simply got "beat" on those routes that worked... none of which would matter if Wilson had notdone the super job he did. Me ? I am "allready" truly impressed going into the S.F. game...so, I am out...

I have to say Russell Wilson played a good game...

Yes. I now have to shut my face on the Wilson issue, I knew early on in the game that they must have taken the return bungees off the ball (what was the name of that product for training kids ?)... I was impressed but felt he would falter later.... he did not. A very good Quarterback !

    Patriots vs Seahawks Pre-Game Poll

Yea.... I think we all guessed this game somewhat with reality, "I" was into an even match with playcalling making the difference.... I am now seeing the Quarterback situation differently than I did a week ago. (or, this morning in my earlier post). I do not see the #1 defense allocation, I...

    Patriots vs Seahawks Pre-Game Poll

My problem with Pete Carroll, is that I do not expect him to game-plan today in a fashion that will razz-ma-tazz the Bellicheck game-plan, and surprise the Pats. I am expecting the same-o same-o PC USC "keep it simple" mentality. We are good enough in all areas to win any game (I think)...

    Patriots vs Seahawks Pre-Game Poll

Opinion (mine) is that Pete Carroll is unfortunately locked into west coast football stereotyping, like he did at USC.... smash mouth Eastern ball has almost always undone him, it surprises him, and, he does not really understand it... his (out of the West Coast area) coaching record "looks"...

    Top Offense v. Top Defense

I think that is where we have arrived at, this many games in ... the jitters, and the "rookie" excuses are no longer valid, its performance time. (and, I think we are going to need all that he has).

    Top Offense v. Top Defense

Although I have mostly lived here (Oregon) the past 20+ years, I retained my 45 year allegiance to another team from the Central Division... the last 1/2 of last season through last week-end, the Hawks (and Ducks) are now stuck with me. Only - to a point (and with a lucky break or two) - does...

    Packers @ Seahawks MNF

It makes no sense to me that a WIN which is on the books (in our favor) is still being dissected, criticized, and griped about by the local Fan base now heading into next weeks game. its over. Bad calls happen. "Real" referees or temporary. Over the years of our all watching hail Mary...

    Packers @ Seahawks MNF

As a new kid, I am trying to figure out which team I watched last night ... the first half SeaHawks or, the second half SeaHawks, and which team will show up next game ?

Miracles can happen, Seahawks defeat Packers on chaotic final play

Wow ! my first Sea Hawks game as the new kid for what ? four hours ?

    New kid ....

After moving to the NW in 1967 and making it a home base (Seattle-Eugene), I have finally moved over to the Ducks and the SeaHawks for football.
