We probably would have to offer our 14th and a pick next year or the 2nd round this year on top of another pick. Not sure exactly if it's worth it or not.
Scheduled visits so far with Seattle:
-Broncos OG Ben Hamilton
-Patriots TE Ben Watson
-Broncos WR Brandon Marshall
-Panthers DE Tyler Brayton
-Ravens DL Dwan Edwards
-49ers WR Arnaz Battle
Still no word on Aaron Kampman.
Marshall will be in Seattle tomorrow to visit. If we offer a deal Broncos would have one week to either match it or take our 6th pick of the 2010 NFL Draft.
I'm not all for this. I think we should focus on OT with the 6th pick instead, but Marshall would be a nice addition after losing Burleson to the Lions.
Quick Notes before I step away from the computer for a little:
-49ers WR Arnaz Battle has a scheduled meeting with Seattle this weekend.
-Ravens WR Kelley Washington is also drawing interest from Seattle according to the National Football Post.
-Still no meeting or talks between Aaron Kampman...
Nope, but we don't know if he offered Seattle a chance to match or go higher and they choose not to. I think we need to know more of the details before we judge. For all we know they didn't want to match it and wasn't offering that much.
Remember 12th Man... NFL is a business. Players come and...
Ok it's been pretty quiet in Seattle. Here's what I'm hearing:
-CB Leigh Bodden is drawing interest from Seattle.
-DE/OLB Aaron Kampman is a likely free agent signee by the Seahawks. Makes sense he's familiar with John Schneider from Green Bay.
-Julius Peppers as reported earlier that Seattle...
We are less than 8 minutes from the madness. In the past three-years I've covered this it's slow until about 1 a.m then it picks up. Let's see if no-cap changes that.
