    Golden Tate on NASCAR

Lets see Michael Waltrip and several other drivers hit a 95 MPH fastball. NASCAR is as much of a sport as rock/paper/scissors. Sure you can be skilled at turning your car left at 200+mph for 5,000 laps. Doesn't mean you're an athlete. Some people are really good at eating oodles hot dogs in...

    The Fun's Just Started!

The fantasy format on MLB.com is actually pretty good, it's designed more like fantasy football, where you update your roster weekly. You select a player for all 8 defensive positions, plus 1 pitching staff (you just choose a team) and a utility player. I did both last season (Yahoo and...

    :) Yea, I'm done.

There are many ways of getting on base, whether it be via a walk, or just a hit. Ichiro is the best contact hitter in all of baseball, and arguably the best contact hitter the game has ever seen. Ichiro can manufacture a hit any way he can, hence the high number of infield hits. While Ricky...

I find it difficult for the front office to move away from Whitehurst, especially with what they had to gave up just to get him. The defensive line has shown it can be fairly dominant with Bryant in there, and with Clemons/Brock emerging as a pretty good rush duo, I think they focus on the...

That makes him far less appealing, as well.

    hate to be clichè, but...

To be fair, I haven't been on this form long enough, or consistent enough for my statement to really mean much :) Sorry. But, Ichiro wont warrant much talent in return.. He's 37 years-old, while he may not play like that. From the mind of a front office, he's on the decline. Age is a huge...

Hmm, where do I start? The objective of a leadoff role, is not to drive in runs. It's to score them, but most importantly, it's to get on base. There isn't a player in the majors who does that better than Ichiro.. Ichiro throughout his career has scored 100+ runs a season consistently, as...

This might just be the most retarded thing I've read on this forum ;) Good for you.

    Hasselbeck Out

Anyone also knows that preseason is NOT a good representation of a players true abilities... I'm not gonna sit here and tell you he's gonna do awesome, or he's gonna do awful. He's a mystery, and that's all there is to it. Whitehurst reminds me a lot of Matt Shaub, 3rd round selection...

    Hasselbeck Out

This is the right move.. Gives the Seahawks a chance to finally see what Whitehurst is capable of. Lets be honest, the chances of the Seahawks coming out with a win this weekend is pretty slim.. Why risk further injury on Hasselbeck, against one of the best defensive lines in the game. Let him...

Randy Moss Released Today by Vikings

I actually didn't mean to quote you ;)

Randy Moss Released Today by Vikings

Still not worth the risk and the $3MM he's owed. Regardless though, he's a Titan now anyway.

Randy Moss Released Today by Vikings

This is true, however, Moss has every right to express disinterest in any team that attempts to claim him. No team is going to pick up his contract and the attitude that comes with it if he doesn't have any interest.

Randy Moss Released Today by Vikings

None of what happened on Sunday was even remotely close to being Hasselbecks fault... Why start Whitehurst?

    Official Game Day Thread: Seahawks @ Raiders - 10/31: LOSS 33 - 3

To be fair, the Seahawks were without Mebane. :)

Talks between Patriots/Seahawks -- Possible Branch Trade

I can't see him going for anything less than a 5th rounder. Moss went for a 3rd and the gap between both of their skill levels is pretty significant.

Talks between Patriots/Seahawks -- Possible Branch Trade

5 rounder would still be fine. I'm saying since we don't have any middle round picks, it'd be nice to snag whatever we can even in the late rounds. Pretty trusting in Schnieder and Carroll when it comes to late round picks. It's better than Branch walking away, and the Seahawks getting nothing...

Talks between Patriots/Seahawks -- Possible Branch Trade

Why Branch-to-Patriots would make sense - NFC West Blog - ESPN Personally, I'm all for this. Branch was expendable once the Seahawks signed Stokley. Especially considering the Seahawks are without middle round draft picks, this makes sense. They have 6 WR's on the team, that's a bit overkill.
