    Tramon Williams

What would you all think of Marcus Peters? Been checking out some mocks today and all but one of them have Peters falling as low as the 3rd round. The one exception was the Bleacher Report which had him going to the Steelers at #22. If he falls to the 2nd or 3rd round, what do you think...

    Tramon Williams

Man, did you hear about the latest developments with the Niners? Patrick Willis is retiring, Iupati is probably signing with the Cards and Gore is reportedly headed for Philly. Further dismantling of a team that 2 years ago coming off a Super Bowl was considered a team built for a long run of...

    Tramon Williams

Tramon would offset the loss of Maxwell quite nicely. I still haven't given up on Tharold Simon and neither have the Seahawks but he needs a lot of work. If he can stay healthy he might have a better shot at hitting his considerable upside. If it doesn't work out with Tramon though at least...

    Hawk bow

Sorry to hear about your injury. That sucks. But at least you can still comfortably draw 55 which is cool. 37 huh? Not quite what I thought. Maybe it's the riser that makes it look like more than that. I was thinking maybe 40+. Nice looking bow (enhanced, of course by the Hawk colors =D)

    Super Bowl for Ndamukong Suh?

Mebane is gonna be big in the run D but doesn't offer up much getting pressure on the QB. Suh is like Warren Sapp. He's in a league above all other interior linemen except for maybe Gerald McCoy, or a healthy Geno Atkins. I'd kinda be thinking more in line with you if Jordan Hill wasn't so...

    Hawk bow

Love the Hawk colors! What brand of bow is that? It seems long for a compound. Out of curiosity do you use a mechanical release or fingers with that bow?

    Lofa's Back

There's maybe only one Seahawk who is in the conversation as possibly the greatest player in NFL history to ever play his position, at least for a while and that's #45. From 1983 to around 1986 he hit a level that maybe no other SS in NFL history has ever reached. The person who many consider...

Is a #1 WR the biggest offseason need ?

Wouldn't be the case if Zach Miller could ever stay healthy and Luke Willson would pan out. Willson was putting a nice little string of games together but then kinda disappeared again in the title game and SB.

Is a #1 WR the biggest offseason need ?

When is Baldwin due for a new contract? You definitely want to hang onto him if you can get him for another season on the cheap, especially with the unknowns surrounding PRich and Norwood. Baldwin's the most stable element of the WR corps at the moment, along with Kearse. Just gotta hope he...

Agree on all counts. The Hawks definitely screwed the pooch, no doubt about it. With the one time out they still could have conceivably run three plays to Lynch had they needed to. It would have been tight but it could have been done. I think of that play as kinda a similar deal to what...

How exactly did they mismanage the clock? They didn't burn the 2nd timeout because they were wasting time. First off, on long plays like that, the play clock is going to expire before everyone can get down field to line up for the next play because everyone's got so far to travel. You often...

After listening to the Pete Carroll show, I guess the thinking behind the play might have been a little more sound than it seemed at first glance. I'm always one of the last ones who will question the people in the biz and don't have the delusion that my grasp of the game would trump theirs...

I can understand if not condone the decision to run a pass play. They were looking at two shots at the end zone via Beast Mode with only one time out left. So they run the pass play on 2nd down to give them 3 shots: 2 via the run and 1 via the pass. I ain't justifying it, I'm just saying...

Who's going to be the new DC ?

Maybe the more important questions is, who will be the new OC? As far as DC candidates go, who's out there? Teams have a knack for filling OC and DC candidates with guys the team or the head coach already has a history with, like Quinn. Either an in-house promotion or somebody who has served...

Football Gameplan's Super Bowl XLIX Preview

I was about 90% sure you were gonna pick the Patriots but you're going with them 'Hawks. Good call Em and thanks for taking the time to post your insights on here throughout the year. Go Hawks!!

Key for Seahawks to beat the Patriots

Stopping the run. All the talk about Brady, the passing game, Deflategate and all that aside, the Seahawks can't let the Patriots run the ball like they did against the Colts. In every game the Seahawks have lost this year, the opposing team has been able to run the ball. Minimum of...

    Seriosly?

Seahawks have five turnovers and the top scoring offense in the league only had 22 points to show for it is a pretty darn good sign. I think Wilson's got the intangibles to put that game behind him and bounce back. In a way he already has. Once the Packers took their collective foot off the...

    Seriosly?

I really don't think it matters. Although they have a better home record this year, their best games this year have been on the road. @SF, @AZ and @Philly. And some of their worst games have been at home. Dallas game, Oakland and this last one come to mind.

    Seriosly?

As Ricky Fitts once said, "never underestimate the power of denial." Jeez, it must suck being a hater these days.

    Seriosly?

Attempting to take something out of context doesn't change the meaning. Nice try though
