Seahawks Claim WR Heckendorf off Lions Waivers

Kole Heckendorf a WR/KR was claimed off of waivers from the Lions. He was undrafted out of North Dakota State and before being a member of the Lions Practice Squad in 2009 was signed by John Schnieder and crew in Green Bay. He appears to be nothing more than a camp body with the chance to make the Practice Squad as well.

If the lions were good evaluators of talent, doubt they'd be picking in the top 10 the last decade... just saying : )

He had been signed by Schnieder in Green Bay before landing in Detroit. It looks more like just a camp body, but who knows. Seattle has had success with undrafted guys. Just look at Mack Strong and role players like DD Lewis and others.
