For those who don't remember the Giants game back in 2008 the hypocrites at Dipshitspin...err...Deadspin who make way worse comments about thing DAILY than we made about New Yawk and took it upon themselves to defend "life, liberty, yada, yada, yada"...Well...They are at it again...

They are actually RIGHT this time though...YOU NEVER ROOT FOR YOUR TEAM TO TANK....You "fan tankers" are giving us all a bad name...

Deadspin: 'Seattle's 12th Man is a traitor'

Seattle's 12th Man Is A Traitor

Suck it up and root for the Hawks...Do you really want those cocksuckers at Dipshitspin to be right about something for the first time ever?

Once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen. If you need an example, look at the Cardinals a couple of years ago when they made it to the Super Bowl. I'm not saying that will happen with the Hawks, but there's always a chance. They just need to make it in first.

YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!

Any fan that wants them to lose for a better draft pick better not buy into Pete Carroll's "Win Now" motto.

I never understood the "let's lose and not make the playoffs" mentality at this point. The only "valid" argument was for a better draft pick, but at THIS stage? It's one lousy position. We would what, tie with SF? Plus AZ would still have a better position. With Carolina and other worse teams, losing one more game would not make a noticeable diff.

Hoping for losing is better for a team that's 1 and 15. I'LL TAKE THE PLAYOFFS, THANK YOU!

Actually bru it would. The 12 playoff teams get the 12 last picks so you're looking at a potential dfference 10 or 11 spots.

This is correct. The rule changed a couple of years ago when the Chargers made the playoffs at 8-8 and still had the 12 pick.

Thanks for the clarification. But that still is not significant compared to a playoff berth. Way too many crappy teams this year.
