A look at the memorable – and not-so-memorable – moments in Seahawks history that occurred on Dec. 10:
1978: The Seahawks take a 10-3 lead on Jim Zorn’s touchdown pass to David Sims and a 48-yard field goal by Efren Herrera, but Dan Fouts passes for three TDs in rallying the Chargers to 37-10 victory in San Diego.
1989: Dave Krieg throws a 1-yard touchdown pass to Curt Warner early in the fourth quarter as the Seahawks win 24-17 over the Bengals in Cincinnati. The game-winner is Krieg’s third TD pass of the day.
1995: Chris Warren catches a 20-yard touchdown pass from John Friesz with 49 second to play, giving the Seahawks a 31-27 victory over the Broncos at Mile High Stadium. Friesz also passes 5 yards to Joey Galloway with 4:10 remaining as the Seahawks overcome a 27-14 deficit. Warren also runs for 101 yards and a TD, while Brian Blades catches seven passes for 127 yards. The defense, meanwhile, intercepts John Elway three times and forces the three-and-out that sets up the game-winning TD.
2000: Jon Kitna passes for three touchdowns and 298 yards, but the Broncos take a 24-3 lead and hold on for a 31-24 victory at Mile High Stadium.
2006: Matt Hasselbeck’s fourth-and-20 pass to Deion Branch goes for 18 yards, and to the Arizona 7-yard line, as the Cardinals hang on for a 27-21 victory in the desert. Hasselbeck passes for three touchdowns, but Edgerrin James runs for 115 yards and a TD and Matt Leinart passes for two TDs for the Cardinals.
