A look at the memorable – and not-so-memorable – moments in Seahawks history that occurred on Dec. 9:
1984: The Seahawks’ eight-game winning streak is snapped in a 34-7 loss in Kansas City as the Chiefs intercept Dave Krieg five times and Billy Kenney passes for 312 yards and two touchdowns.
1990: The Seahawks take a 20-0 lead and then hold on for a 20-14 victory over the Packers at Milwaukee County Stadium. Derrick Fenner runs for 112 yards and a touchdown, but the victory is not secured until Blair Kiel’s fourth-down pass from the Seahawks’ 8-yard line falls incomplete with 1:25 left to play.
2001: Darrell Jackson catches four passes for 104 yards and a touchdown, but it’s the Seahawks’ only score in a 20-7 loss to the Broncos in Denver.
2007: Matt Hasselbeck passes for four touchdowns and Marcus Trufant returns one of his three interceptions 84 yards for a touchdown in a 42-21 victory over the Cardinals in Seattle.
