Jedd Fisch is gone, after one season as quarterbacks coach for the Seahawks. But the new offensive coordinator at the University of Miami has not forgotten.
Fisch is having the Hurricanes’ quarterbacks – Jacory Harris, Stephen Morris and Spencer Whipple – study tape of NFL passers. Included in that group is the Seahawks’ Matt Hasselbeck.
Here’s what the Miami Herald had to say about this Fisching expedition aimed at getting the school back to being Quarterback U:
On Thursday, they studied Houston’s Matt Schaub to learn how to be more deceptive with play-action passes and Kurt Warner“to show the ways he anticipates throws,” Fisch said. “They see a lot of Matt Hasselbeck and Jay Cutler,” said Fisch, who coached those two, “and a lot of Tom Brady and Peyton Manning to learn how to control a game.”
