Seneca played good today...all the penalties killed us on top of being extremely hurt...left our d on the field way to long and anyone with eyes knows it wasn't Seneca's fault today...
naw still mare, he had a bad day...really i agree he is a pro kicker its all he does, there should be no bad days in clear weather on field turf, but i think he will learn from this and make them count down the road...
name a team that's pumped for their back up to play...none, its always a risk, that's why they aren't starters, it takes the rest of the team to rally around them, saying this is all Senecas fault (not saying he didn't have his faults) is fuckin ridiculous
^^^i agree, Seneca isn't Matt, we as fans are used to his great qb play that is a game changer..we cant expect our back up to be the equalizer, if he was he would be the starter...I admit he missed plays, but the ones he was making our STARTERS were missing on, not a good combination..
still, mare has one fuckin job kick the god damn ball through the fuckin upright...you know what he does all day stretch, kick, this hash that hash, rest condition stretch, kick, this hash that hash...Its true team effort, but you rely on a guy like your kicker when your star guys are down and...
^^^true and even if they dont "target" them...no matter where you get hit once your upper body tenses up for the blow that rib is gonna feel the pain...let alone him landing on it
i love Matthew but for goodness sakes sit down this week...we don't need him getting shhhmacked by the bears d and be out longer than just letting him heal up...1 game or the season?
my belief about Seneca is that he is smart, fast and capable...i think where we have fallen short with him, for one, not giving him enough time (decimated offense last year) and the fact that he isn't tall enough, they have him listed at a generous 5-11 and i think sometimes he misses open guys...
naw he doesn't break them if lofa and hill are playing our d line played pretty good young line backer play hurt us...defiantly shouldn't throw in the towel just yet guys
