    Matt Flynn Official Discussion Thread

Doug - I know you love to talk OL, but why so dismal man? Carpenter was a reach but him and moffit were rookies, dont you think your using the "bust" card on J.C. is alittle early? I like unger at center too, moffit played okay, and okung if healthy (i kno; big if..) is considered a pro bowl LT...

Hardgrove went to Packers. Bummed about it, it was alittle bit of the heart and soul on the defense and on the sidelines. Ill miss his aweful singing, his energy, and he had a cool story. He recorded I think the only safety last year.

    Ryan Tannehill at 12?

If Tannehill is there, which I doubt, we might consider him for trade bait. Tannehill seems to have all the measureables, passes the eyeball test, but I was not impressed by what I saw of him in live action.

Bringing in Lumpkin was a good move, Flynn saves the play alot by dumping off to HB/FB's.

Mock Draft for 1st Round - See My Take on the Seahawks Pick!

Well done Jason, I think you pretty much covered it. Myself personally like Ingram over Couples, but Im in the minority. I also think that they could consider OL at 12 if a.) a top OT slips down, or b.)DeCastro is there.

    Matt Flynn Official Discussion Thread

Flynn shows command and leadership in the huddle and at the LOS. He makes pre-snap reads and adjustments. Seems to have command of the play book by checking out of plays and calling audibles, even more so it seemed then A. Rogers even does. Play action and drops back well, shows good foot...

Bummer about Bush, and its a head scratcher with Forte there. But hawks did sign a big RB: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/seahawksblog/2017826454_seahawkstoaddrbkregglumpkin.html I like it, not real familar with Lampkin, but I like that he's a bigger back. Never thought that Lynch and...

Skeptisism is a good thing. What do you mean meaningless game? He played the lions who were playing for playoff spot. That is what makes that performance so amazing and legit. Set all time GB records for TD's and Yards in passing!

Ida is a hater, 94 is a lover, Bob and 18 are riding the fence (typical) and I am siding with 94 on this one. Flynn has soooo many pros and only a couple of cons.... but I'll defer to the dark lord for now.

Dude Lych and Bush One Two Punch Punch! We would pound the shit out defenses! If Bush left cinncy w/o signing and is headed to Sea then we have chance.

I still think these guys might get a 'project' QB in the draft, if there is value in it. And they are dissiplined enough not to reach.

Pete Carroll on Softy said they would still like to have both hill and hawethorne back. You think Luke Kuechly will be around in the second round?

Yep, which would be a good move, there are alot of RB's still out there, that would play 2nd fiddle to lynch. Forrset is gone, Leon will stay IMO. Also we still have ALOT of money to spend. I read an article that we likely have carry over money from 2011, unspent like 15M?

Its easy to be a critic or skeptic to the moves but what alternitives are you suggesting? The only thing I think the current regime has missed on was last year getting Dalton, but that was a diamond in the rough.

Draft deep in DT, LB, WR, RB, so it seems, so no reason to rush out and over pay for FA guys at these positions, gotta love that we might get like a Michael Bush on the cheap because the market is saturated at the RB position. I wish we'd look at tolbert though, he could be FB or RB, in case M...
