I was responding to bobflipaburger, who was saying we need to get Tate some short passes and screens. He said this before the Chargers game, so I was trying to point out that it's hard to get Tate involved when the coaching staff seemed to think Obomanu and his special teams expertise (lol) is...
Not much love for Reggie Williams? I think he's more than just a dark horse here, he could easily come on strong... I'm not paying much mind to his issues off the field
I would still not object to Bruce Campbell with our first 4th round pick if he falls there. But of course Griffen would fill a larger need at this point
With all of the undervalued trades going on this off season, I wouldn't be surprised at all if the let Lynch go for a 4th rounder. It could be even less than that, if they do decide trade him. I think it mostly depends about how strongly they feel about Spiller, who they could easily take with...
I just feel that he has finally learned his lesson, but that still remains to be seen I guess. And Redskins fans were probably not huge lovers of McNabb, but maybe now they realize that he is going to help their team win a few more games in the near future, much more than any 2nd, 3rd, or 4th...
I'm pretty sure I called myself anti-Pittsburgh at the very beginning of the post. And Donovan McNabb just went for a 2nd and a conditional 3rd/4th next year. I doubt Roethlisberger would go for anything extremely more than that, especially in light of what just happened with him...
Yea I guess it was kinda stupid to propose this on a Seahawks forum. Lol, I don't like him as a player any more than any of you do, but I can absolutely GUARANTEE you that the front office views him as a solid and experienced, yet young, quarterback who knows how to lead a team and escape...
lol yeah I figured this is how people would respond... and I understand, trust me.
I was just thinking that maybe this is the type of eccentric deal that PC and company would try to make
I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the BIGGEST Roethlisberger fan as far his on-the-field play goes. I am very aint-Pitssburgh. However, I would not object to the Seahawks showing interests in him if indeed the Steelers decide they want to open him up to trade market.
At only 28 years old...
Especially when he is likely to be there at #14... I honestly don't see the 49ers taking him at all. The only other threat between #7 and #13 would be the Bills, IMO. And they also have more pressing needs than running back.
I have to say, I'm a real fan of Marshawn Lynch's play as a running back. He could be the perfect compliment to Forsett.
Now, this does raise conflicts with the Marshall trade, because obviously we only have one 2nd round pick, and I would rather grab Marshall when you consider that both of...
^^^ I think this is just based on the fact that they want to trade Ginn, if I'm not mistaken. I don't see them getting Marshall, but that's just me. Although, the Dolphins offense could be dangerous with him.
I've seen way to many mock draft that have us reaching for Spiller at #6, and I think way too much is being made of the hoopla that Pete Carroll needs a "Reggie Bush-type" player. IMO, Justin Forsett is every bit as dynamic and skilled as Spiller, he just doesn't have as much straight speed...
